Christophe Barreau
Christophe Barreau is a distinguished French naval architect renowned for his expertise in designing high-performance multihull sailboats.
His portfolio includes collaborations with esteemed shipyards such as Catana, Outremer, and Marsaudon Composites.
Among his most famous designs is the Outremer 45 and 49 (later extended to the 51), sleek cruising catamarans that remain very sought after.
He also designed the TS 52.8, built by XL Catamarans, and the TS42, built by Marsaudon Composites.
In recent years, Barreau, in partnership with architect Frédéric Neuman, has focused on eco-friendly performance catamarans.
