The New Excess 13
Excess Catamarans shared some big news this month: the launch of a new model! The Excess 13.
Designed by the Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group, this new sailing catamaran has been designed for easy sailing and comfortable living.
MLYDG was tasked with developing the new model along the lines of the Excess 11 and 14, with a philosophy of “Less is More”. So, for example, they have designed a rainwater recovery system on the coachroof, which is then stored in a tank. An efficient ventilation system minimises the power needed by the air conditioning. Cabin doors have a dual function, both as a entrance door and closet door.
