Prout 37 Snowgoose For Sale
“Catalyst” is a 1979 Snowgoose 37 For Sale at £49950 ($65,547, €60,000).
Refurbished between 2010 and 2012 for the Mediterranean climate and with many upgrades since.
She is on her own mooring in Puerto de Pollensa in Mallorca and looking for the next caretaker for a new adventure.

Solid fibreglass bimini roof over cockpit, with 3 x 100 watt solar panels.
Bimini roof is dished to catch rainwater which is drained off through tubes on port and starboard sides, so can be saved into containers when on a long passage.
Zipped canvas which can totally enclose cockpit, or can be totally unzipped to open cockpit for ventilation.
Canvas is 90% clear plastic.
Cockpit seats have full length foam cushions.

On completion of refurbishment the surveyor valued Catalyst at £70,000
Am now asking £50.000.
Catalyst is based in Puerto Pollenca NE Mallorca
One hour by bus from Palma airport. Regular air conditioned bus service 9 euros
Moored in a very sheltered bay.
Have my own mooring which is free of any fees.
Mooring block is concrete 1.5mt x 1.5mt x 30cm thick, weighs approx 1 tonne.
Mooring chain is 12mt x 10mm chain with swivel on top and nylon warps,chain renewed May 2022.
Mooring is in approx 2.5 metres of water, which being the Mediterranean, never goes out.
The depth varies mostly by atmospheric pressure, can drop by half metre.
Was on my mooring in the summer of 2020 and there was a violent storm. Someone displayed a photo on facebook of their wind instrument which showed gusts of 81 knots. It was a northerly wind which caused waves of about half metre high.
There are live aboards in the bay who stay on their mooring through the winter. I go into the harbour from November to end of May.
The harbour fees are 380 euros a month which includes water and electric neither are metered.
Catalyst’s insurance is due for renewal at the end of June.
Fully comprehensive for living on board is £560 for 12 months including Legal protection.
There is no stipulation to be in the harbour for a minimum amount of time
